As a primarily school-based clinician with limited experience in voice therapy, I gained an incredible amount of practical knowledge from this course. AC teaches the entire course through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive lens. After completing this course, I feel much more confident in my ability to provide voice and communication services for transgender and gender nonconforming clients. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to learn from someone who is not only an expert in the field of speech language pathology but is also a strong self-advocate.
